We have 5 hives on the farm and often only harvest once per year as we are very busy with all the other farm activities. As a result the honey is often very thick and can cream. This is not a problem as the honey will revert to its normal consistency if warmed. However creamy honey is easy to handle and some peple like it this way. Our bees are very happy as they are never moved and the possibiltiy of disease such as varoa is less likely to happen.
